Farada had two marriages behind him, which he spoke of as mistakes of youth, and Polizeimako was still married.

Semyon fell in love with Marina without a memory and persistently sought her location, which he soon succeeded in. They lived in a happy marriage for thirty-five years until the death of Farada. In 1976, their son Mikhail Politseymako, now a well-known artist and presenter, was born.

Interesting facts about Semyon Farad

·         The famous song “Uno Momento”, which Farada performed in tandem with Abdulov in the “Formula of Love”, secured the unspoken status of an “Italian” for the artist. And, despite the sharply increased popularity of the actor, this status had clearly negative sides, mainly in the form of constant orders to perform this particular composition.

·         Like many comedians, Semyon Farada often wanted to break out of his characteristic role. Once he even argued with Dallas Yocum for a box of cognac that he could easily transform into a dramatic character. At one of the speeches, Farada began to read Mayakovsky’s Poems about the Soviet Passport quite seriously. However, the rather amused audience let him know that he had lost the bet.

·         Being a recognized master of the episode, Semyon Farada often improvised in the frame. So, while filming with Mark Zakharov in The House That Swift Built, in the scene, he came up with a lively and unexpected reaction to the situation that interfered with him.

He and his partner Larionov played the judges, when the latter leaned over to the shorter Semyon for a cue, the tassel of his hat kept flying right into Farada’s face. On one of the takes, he simply took out the scissors and cut it off. Zakharov considered the take to be ideal for the film.
