The increase and diversification of sports content increases the need for a more flexible channel structure. This will ensure that we can make more extensive use of our channels in the future and show a wider range of species. Our sports offering will grow this autumn with FIS winter sports and Formula 1 broadcasts will be available on our channels from 2022 onwards. All NENT Group Finland’s live sports broadcasts will continue to be available on the Elisa Voided Via play service.

Which will be available to operators from 1 October 2021? The channel will be included in the monthly fee for a multi-operator cable card or IPTV box. Operators will provide more detailed information on pricing and distribution in the coming days. The channel will become the main channel for winter sports, showing the main World Cup competitions as well as a wide range of other selected sports such as the NHL, NFL, Premier League, Bundesliga, as well as UEFA Europe and Conference League matches. V sport + Sumy channel is also part of the selection of V premium and V sport channel packages.
V sport + Finland:
The main channel for winter sports, including e.g. cross-country skiing, alpine sports and downhill skiing. Top-level football from Europe’s top leagues, the NHL puck, the NFL and many other varied sports entertainment are also shown weekly. Starting in 2022, Formula 1 exercises, magazine programs and time trials will also be included.
V sport 2 Finland:
The channel shows football from the best leagues in Europe, but also other top sports. See the most interesting matches e.g. the Premier League, the Bundesliga, UEFA Europa and the Conference League. The program also includes the NHL Hockey, the NFL American Football, winter sports and more. Pre-studios are also in the most interesting matches.

Solid sport Broadcast is currently
the most widely used free-to-air sports broadcast application in the Nordic countries, capable of making live HD broadcasts including graphics. Solidsport is now introducing a new unique feature to its Broadcast application: Marking Highlights that takes live broadcasts to the next level. This allows you to cut highlights already during live broadcasts – at the touch of a button.
Here’s how it works:
As soon as the photographer sees a peak moment (such as a goal), he or she presses the star button on the screen. When the broadcast is complete and stopped, the highlight summary, which contains all the highlights of a single event, is automatically saved to the user’s own Solid sport channel.
