This Sanskrit shloka has been taken from the holy, ‘Vishnupuran’, it means Bharat i.e., India is the land which lies to the south of the Himalayas. It lies to the north of the Indian Ocean and people residing here are called Bharatiya or Indians.

Yes! We are Indians and we are proud to say that our country ‘India’ is INCREDIBLE! It is impossible to believe, impossible to imagine, impossible to portray, and impossible to create! We natizens enjoy, build and carve the moments within the hearts of people. The blood which flows within our nerves is the purest source of love for our country!

  • The culture: 

 “Culture gives soul to the country, wings to the mind, flight to imaginations and creativity, life to each and every single thing that exists on this planet…”

India is a country rich in its culture. Its culture gives birth to mankind. The existence of mankind preserves the culture, and history reserves it! It is one of the oldest cultures in the world. Its culture resides within the arts, languages, traditions, people, food, festivals, religions, music, and dance. The diverse Indian culture has been preserved by each and every generation and is reflected in their actions. Let’s know about its culture in brief:

  1. Indian Festivals: Indian people are having the strongest unity in the whole world. In India, there are a variety of religions and every religion has its traditional Indian festivals. Many festivals, 6 religions, and one nation! ! India celebrates its vast variety of festivals standing together with each other and finding happiness in others’ happiness. The most common Indian festivals are Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, Christmas, Guruparab, Ed-ul-Fitr, Lohri, Bihu, Navratri, Buddh Pournima, etc. Different parts of India have their own unique style of celebrating these festivals, but the natizens swing and sing together with the common beats of togetherness! Indian festivals bring happiness and cheerfulness to people and are a great time for spending time with family. The Indian festival celebrations are part of the attraction for foreigners around the world.
  • Indian religions: A religion is a unified system of beliefs and practices.  India is a religious country. Along with 6 major religions, mainly, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism. Many other religions have been co-existing and growing for the last few years. But all the people of different religions reside in one place and in one nation with the feeling of brotherhood within their hearts. 
  • Indian languages: In India, people speak a variety of languages, mostly according to their state. Sanskrit is an old Indian language and is the mother of all other Indian languages. Predominantly, India speaks 22 languages including, Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati, Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Punjabi, Kannada, Odia, Rajasthani, etc. Hindi has been accepted as the national language all over India.
  • Art: Each state has its own art form which is composed of musical beats, dance forms, paintings, literature, food styles, dressing styles, and the lifestyle. Each part is a vast concept and many writers have been understanding its uniqueness and writing about Indian art forms for years.
  • Tourism:

Starting from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Changlang, as India is rich in its culture, in a similar manner it is rich in its tourism. Every corner of India is a point of attraction for tourists. One of the fastest-growing industries in the world is tourism. India has huge god-gifted sites to be visited and explored. We Indians are proud to have ‘The Taj Mahal’ situated at Agra as one of the 7 wonders of the World. The evergreen beauty of India is reflected within its tourism. To promote tourism in India, the government has launched many projects and ‘Atulya Bharat’, i.e. ‘Incredible India’ has set the biggest example in front of the world and has become more successful. 

  • Development:

India is one of the ‘Developing’ countries in the world. Its development has been the biggest achievement in recent times. It has started producing its own products and new industries are being established each day. The prime minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji has recently launched ‘Aatma Nirbhar’ concept in India to be self-independent in terms of its development and progress.
